Description

As a Marine Engineer you develop and design mechanical systems for propulsion, climate,manoeuvring and hybrid systems for the projects. You are innovative and you play an active role in the future professionalization of the team.  You like to work in close cooperation with our clients and suppliers. Tasks and Responsibilities

As Marine Engineer the following is expected of you:

  • Responsible for the basic design, scantlings and release class drawings;
  • Implement performance documents and class drawings into 3D detail design;
  • Review and secure 3D models and drawings before entering the production phase;
  • Experience with Hybrid system and preferable submarines;
  • Provide clients with engineering solutions, technical guidance and support;
  • Serve as a source of information (regarding technical questions) for the team and for the external parties;
  • Undertake trainings for any relevant  skills that you need.

Profile

You should have the following Profile as a:

  • Graduated in Mechanical Engineering or similar (Bachelor or Master);
  • Experience and knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering;
  • Min. 5+ years of experience within ship engineering or equal level expertise;
  • Good working knowledge of the English and Dutch language, both written and orally;
  • Only candidates with EU citizenship will be considered as viable candidates.
